Comment by BenBob on December 14, 2010 at 3:44pm Double CBG goodness! Cool Ben. I need to build a tenor CBG or canjo.
My track is solo 3-string fretless (all slide), tuned GDg. I based it on the Disney version of the tune.
Comment by Ben on December 14, 2010 at 3:15pm BenBob, I was thinking the same thing. I'll get things started off. I "cheated" on my drums and used my Yamaha keyboard for them. Washburn AB10 acoustic bass. The slide guitar is my 6-string Cohiba lapsteel played acoustic tuned DGDGBD. The strummer in the back is a 4-string Padron Tenor tuned CGDA - traditional 23" scale. I'm using a Bach Strad 180S-37 trumpet and a King 606 trombone also. I think that covers it. Enjoy!

Comment by BenBob on December 14, 2010 at 1:31pm Been listening to the Christmas album and loving it! One thing is missing though... performer notes. I'd love to hear anything the contributors want to add, especially what instruments/tunings were used for the tracks.
Could we collect any notes here?
Comment by BenBob on December 14, 2010 at 11:44am THANKS SHANE! I'm downloading those joyful tones right now.
