I feel you, I can only record one track at a time here in my own space so I usually try to place a mic in the room and then try to play stomp and sing all into the space and just sort of take what I get. I like the rawness of the sound but the balance is never ideal. So how do you think your home recording will change now? What would you like to do next? How do you hope to get the cd out to the people and what do you think has changed about your sound and your writing from the last cd to now. I was playing your last cd all morning and it still really holds up well. Strong songs and a nice variety of styles. Where do you go as an artist from here

So Shane what is the difference between recording in your own studio and in someone elses? Which do you prefer and why? Do you like having outside ears on your stuff or do you know what you want to sound like? Just wondering
