Hey guys, I'm currently investigating parts for my first CBG, and I found this picture on John McNair's website:

The bridge looks pretty cool, anyone know what bits I need to make one? I dont really want to use a bolt or anything.

Cheers

Those are just single saddles. They can be obtained from any parts supplier.

Allparts

Thanks Matt, found some yesterday ;)

I'm a little confused on your shipping price comment.
I went to the store and picked 10 or 11 items totaling $38 but shipping ended up being $53.
The highest shipping charge was for the resonator screens - $10 - which I thought would be the total charge for shipping.
It looks to me like if you buy two of any item you pay shipping for just one, but my totals show individual shipping charges for each item, except the reso screens - I got two of them - with a charge for a single one.
Did I misunderstand?

This seller on Ebay is one of my favorites for parts. They are based out of Ontario CA but ship to the US. Takes about 10 days but the best part is that if you order multiple items they only charge the highest shipping charge for one single item (usually around $5.00 CA Postage). I order bridges, bone nut blanks, pots, control & jack plates, string tee's and tons of other items. I have placed several large orders with no issues what so ever.
Curt you have to ask them to combine shipping, usually you click the buy now button but dont pay for it, it will come up in your recent history list or whatever from the same seller, theres a request total from seller, they combine the shipping, then you pay for the items.Make sense?

Thanks Brett,
I appreciate the quick reply since I haven't paid yet.
I had been wondering if they had changed their policy or something.
I've been looking over that last page before you continue to pay but I didn't see anything that looked like a way to change anything.
I'll look again.

edit:
Just got an email from ebay that got it straightened out.
Thanks again
Curt

Awesome, I guess you could always ask before you pay, they can sort that out for you and get back to you.Glad you got it sorted!

This is the first time I'd bought multiple items from a seller so it's just that I was unaware how it worked.

For anyone who's interested I just found theses, available in Gold, Black and Chrome:

http://cgi.ebay.com/BASS-BRIDGE-GOLD-INDIVIDUAL-STRING-SADDLE-POLE-...

I was looking at the cheap 4 string bass bridge, but it's 80mm wide, might be a little wide for a 4 string CBG, the 4 string moongazer bridge is 50mm wide, anyway this is a cheaper option.

Cheers
