Permalink Reply by Ron "Oily" Sprague on May 8, 2012 at 6:52am Haha, yeah, It's somekind of wood....we know that. So I showed a few people and one friend said goncala alves, or walnut, but it doesn't smell like walnut. Or Indian rosewood? Weird wood. I'll have better pics tonight.

Hey juju, they feel like walnut. Not really waxy and not too heavy like bolivian rosewood, more like the weight of walnut as well. They smell like rosewood when cut though. I might take some in to a wood shop and see what they think.
