What CBG is it?

Any one know what CBG Seasick Steve is playing in the "Don't go West" video? My friend wants me to build him one like it. It looks like it may be a 4 string fretless w/ a magnetic pickup, but it is hard to tell from the video. I'm assuming Seasick did not build it, but I've been wrong before, just ask my wife!
Thanks for any help you can give.

yep all way down the fretboard there are collection of Match Books - quite handy if you feel like smokin a Cigar :)
