Can ukulele tuners be used for a CBG?  Meaning, are they strong enough to hold the low string without it backing itself off under tension?  I like the fact that they are often straight tuners with the key hidden at the back of the headstock (is this a friction tuner?), allowing for clean placement of the centre string of a 3-string CBG.  Has anyone run into problems using them on a CBG?  Thanks!  Trev

I suppose it depends on the gauge of your strings and the

quality of the tuners. are these what you're talking about?
