<p>Hi, here I have shown the tools I would choose from to make a full size guitar neck, not shown is the holder for the neck.</p>
<p>The other photos show the quick and easy way I do a 3-4 string CBG neck. I use a large roundover router bit with bearing. The router is clamped into a suitable "found" router holder and then that is clamped into the bench vice.</p>
<p>It gives a "D" shaped neck with a rather flattened back, but lots of wood left for stability. After routing I sand with paper on…</p>

<p>Yes they do that's what I use. or you could buy your favorite radius and put it in the holder upside down, you'll just have to file a suitable groove in the flat side to locate the fret.</p>

<p>This press was made out of one of the hobby drill press that one puts their electric hand drill into. Or you could use your existing drill press if you have one.</p>
<p>I bolt it to the bench and set it up as shown. I use the brass fittings from Stumac. I can fret fingerboards only or the complete neck/fingerboard.</p>
