An interesting idea - the inventor gives out more detail of how it is made here

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xbrOSdAoR54

Just a bit weird placing a mag pup under but Hey what ever works.. Now I gotta go make one...

Thanks for the link Hip Bone - I recalled a thread from a while back where others had the idea to use a magnetic pickup on a metal plate http://www.cigarboxnation.com/forum/topics/spring-plate-reverb-reso... and there is a good sounding reso can built by Jeff Weins who used a magnetic pickup under the can (last page of the thread) and towards the end of the page linked here is a video of it in action http://home.comcast.net/~204mike/diddleybow.html.  It was the first time I'd seen this done.  The Rezobro has taken it one step further - I look forward to seeing your design (will it be called a Bonezobro?)

That's me.  I picked up the idea from a picture Jef Long posted of a tin guitar with a strat pup under the lid.  He reported it worked very well and, while it has some of the same feedback issues of a piezo, the sound was much better and impedance match to the amp was as desired.  Just don't stand in front of the amp facing it with the volume up to 11, I guess.

My adaptation of that idea was to get a reverby sound from inside the guitar.  I have to finish up my Darth Vader guitar before I try the plate reverb.  The Vader git will have a spring inside a tin with a pup on the spring.

Some details are emerging here:  http://www.cigarboxnation.com/profiles/blogs/what-i-ve-learned-in-1...

That's really cool.

Way Cool... hope this works out... I've always liked the sound of a spider bridge better for some reason then a biscuit bridge.. Now something different... As for the name.. we'll see...

This is great stuff, in the video he mentions a solid magnet pickup, and it looks different as well, how is this different form a regular PU, and where would one of these sold.

                                                      Cheers Ron.

It's not gonna be much different, a coil an a magnet... Don't need six poles obviously..
If u want to mix it with a pup on the strings I recommend a bucker inside and a single on the strings for best balance

Thanks kid, I have enough stuff to mess with it and keep me entertained, if anything developes I will share.

                         Cheers Ron.
