questions???

so my wife showed me how to put pics on here. my son asked if we could use his old marker board for a fret board so i tried it out. i think it looks good, the only problem is figuring out the frets so you put the splice on a fret position. the others are of a hand-built pickup that i kinda put together with the help of google. pay no attention to the altoids tin guitar in the background, thats just a wingin it one. lol anyone know how many times i need to wrap the pickup? aka...how many yards of wire do i use?
