Multiple Piezo Discs?

Hi there! First of all, I'm new to this site and want to say hello! I'm building a 3 string resonator for a customer. I'm using a brass lightning cone from cb gitty, as well as their piezo disc pickup kit, which comes with 2 discs. My idea is to put one on the underside of the cone directly underneath the bridge, and one somewhere else, maybe closer to the neck on the underside of the box lid. Does this sound good? What's everybody's experience with using 2 or more piezo discs wired in parallel or series?
