Hi all,
Due to the response to my video Ace of spades and after a suggestion from Steve we are asking if anyone would be interested in making an album called A TRIBUTE TO MOTÖRHEAD with the intention of using just CBGs ,
The album is open to everyone and to cover their vast array of songs,
Even if you don't know Motörhead go on and have a go I garrantee you will get goosebumps playing,
DON'T YOU THINK YOUR SPEAKERS IN YOUR AMP NEED A WORKOUT
The object is for us to all have fun,
The songs can be either acoustic or full rock n roll blues mayhem,
Let me know who's interested and what song you want to play,
Then you can upload them into OUR album for everyone to enjoy,
Good luck and happy rockin,
Oh and Paul smith you've got the job for harmonica on Ace of spades acoustic lol,
Cheers everyone,
Regards
Ian

Hi Wolfe that's a great picture ,
A big box for a big man,
I recon that's got to be a contender for an album cover right there,
Thanks again

Hi, I'm SUGIMUGI. Great Idea. I'd love to do NIGHTMARE / The Dreamtime from the "1916"-album, a song which I used to play in acoustic shows many years ago. A very untypical Motorhead-song. When's the deadline?

Hi thorsten
That's a great song,
It's still Motörhead as far as deadlines we havnt decided yet but we will give it a run for a bit so everyone that wants to cover a song they can we will post when the cut off is but for the time being all is ok,
Hope you enjoy the ride,
Cheers

COUNT ME IN..! i've just finished recording my version of "NO VOICES IN THE SKY"..!

would need someone to do the vocals... any volunteers..?!?

i'm currently mixing it, but this jack daniels honey is making me see things that i'm sure were not there..! (*_*)

...not without a few handfuls of gravel and a bottle of drain cleaning stuff... (-;

I recon your nearly there with the formula,

How does he do it

Hi Legnahkra,

Great choice,

Let me know when youve mixed it down and post it in the link and we can im sure get the vocal sorted,

Keep drinking the amber stuff it puts warts in your voice box then you will sound like lemmy

All the best

Hey Can i sign up to do Stone Dead Forever???

Hi Chris ,
What a classic yep got you down for that ,
Can't wait to hear the song,
Let me know when youve got it down,
Cheers and good luck

I think everyone will find the vocals challenging - everything seems simple till you try it, Lemmy is  a one-off, no-one's been through it like him...!

A few tips on vocals - distortion, distortion, distortion, overload and reverb - good luck! (-:

well check it out. here's a rough mix of it.

i added some pictures of the cbgs i used to record it...

and lyrics where they are supposed to be sung (messed up lyrics' position a little bit after the solo... sorry).

hope you like it... or at least, tolerate it..! :)

Hi Legnahkra,
I've just been listening to the tracks back and man great stuff
