28" scale

got the measurements off stewmac.

the leaves I bought from China but I didn't like it.

I bought it for a template but was too big so I used it on this git and it doesn't look to bad does it.

just painted the front black while the rest is just lightly dyed.

it is based on the  the guitar that glenn campbell was playing on one of his concerts.

Your nephew is fixing to have one of those birthdays that he will remember a long time. That is a beautiful build. I'm with Pick on his observation on the colors. I bet it sounds even better than it looks.That is what it is all about right there.
