I've decided to build me an elektrikal CBG, and will slap in a JuJu pickup. I'm debating whether to use a humbucker or single coil. The humbucker costs more, but is what I'm used to on my SG, though I'll be playing more country-punk than deathcore. Also, the HB can be coil cut or made to be a double (non humbucking) single coil. Does anyone have any reccomendations? So far I mostly see single coils here.

I used an Artec 'hot rail' humbucker and it sounds fine - it's just series wired.  If you'll be using a custom pickup, it's probably best to talk to JuJu about it. On the face of it, a humbucker could be switched for series, parallel or coil cut, giving you up to 4 different options. However, as JuJu makes them, he'd be the best person to recommend a setup for you.

I like singles better all things being equal. I think they have more character and personality. . But if ur playing with a guy also got singles a bucker can stand out better. If you want some kinda switchability I'd ask juju for a tapped single, with three wires comin off it you effectively got three pups in one, the whole coil or one from each side of the tap.

JuJu said he could do me up a humbucker to my specs, which would be 4 wire+ ground, letting me wire it however I want (like my Duncans). I know it's what I want, and if I'm a cheap bastard, I'll end up getting it AFTER I buy the single coil, so I guess humbucker it is.
