OK that's odd. if that's the way it works then I should have been able to send messages in the past. So the person who won this last contest would have to send me a friends request before being able to send me a message. Is there a 'how to use this site' page i've been missing?

They're not really your friends. It's a trick the Internet does to make us lonely nutters feel special and loved. Coz approx 9% are homicidal maniacs :)

Great. Only 9%? I'm still lonely......

years ago I lived in a trailer park. I was outside one day digging to set up a garden to plant flowers. A neighborhood kid comes by and asks me
'why are you dinging holes?"
My response,
"My psychiatrist told me that shovels were meant to dig holes with. Not to hit people. I wanted to see if he was right."
We NEVER had trouble with kids in the yard. The trailer was there for a good 10 years. NEVER any trouble.

OK so is this a two way thing? Because I have some folks I've tried to send messages in the past to. They're listed on my friends list. So I have to send them a friends request as well?

It's so that the security services can see who we want to talk to privately.  Makes it easier for them to track us.  Must dash, there's a black helicopter just landed on my lawn :-\

Well by golly apparently it works! Now i know how to send messages. It got real frustrating trying to send a response to messages I'd get.

OK so it still doesn't work for me. I set a friends request and got a reply. Now i've tried to send a message and nothing happens. I've tried from my friends page and from the nation's member page. Nothing happening. So now do I have to unfriend him to befriend him again to send another message?

hi  ,  rat  ,,   it sounds  more  like  an operating system  glitch    on your  end    are  you    using  chrome  ?
