Hi Linda, I believe you have the link for Elmar who makes the flat pup 6. Let me tell you, that pickup is clear as a bell, no noise, and I get plenty of hi frequency sting out of it, and that is what I was looking for. I make my own pickups for my electric guitars. They are of my own design and tuned to each string, quiet, plenty of response, and time consuming to make. My latest pickup is the "Plain Jane"  , but nothin' is plain about it.

Superb pickups, easy to fit and sound amazing! (-:

where you fit them has an effect on the sound -

near the bridge = sharp and twangy,

near the neck = warm and bassy

 

i put two on my main guitar so i wouldn't have to switch amps, each has its own jack socket and volume control! (switches  now changed for volume pots)

I installed my flat pup on my 4 string and it's an incredible sounding cbg now!  Bye bye piezo and hello flat pups.  Your builds will never sound better for such a small price.

Very true, Linda...I put one on this lapsteel I built for Harrison Withers...the flatpup was a gift from CBN member Mike Breen, thanks again Mike...and of course, Elmar for his ingenious design.
