I would probably wind up picking up a variety of tobaccos . I remember getting some real flavorful stuff from the local pipe shop. One was a blend called Hawaiian, and another was a coffee blend. I also like the standard blends.

Would you load it with an aromatic or a smokey English? I mostly smoke English. Aromatics just have too much moisture and get too hot for me. There is one that is slightly aromatic and sort of herbal called Crooner because it was Bing Crosby's favorite blend. It has deer tongue in it, which has a natural vanilla type aroma. It's unique and pleasant. I have some aged cherry I like a lot. I am going to guess that that would be up your alley. I have a few jars aging with some Dunhill blends and…

I checked out holts. I may be getting a box of something Nicaraguan or another. Prices look good. I'll get a Cohiba this week and let you know what I think. I don't know why I haven't tried one yet.
Gypsy,

Gypsy,

I have had a Romeo & Juliet and while it was a good smoke, I was less than impressed after smoking a cohiba. Right now I have a sampler selection that I am smoking my way through from Holts.com I like to switch between them and the Baccarrats.

After reading through this thread I want to get some good tobacco and smoke one of my pipes that have been setting dormant for lo these many years.

I'm at 1 to 2 a week, and a few pipefuls since I collect and sell pipes. I am hoping to one day smoke a havana before I go. I do love a cigar though. Everything about them. I brought a cbg into the shop last week, and a guy loved it and asked me to build him a six string. I had it in the shop without even the consignment, but no bites. I only put it in there for a week though. I have sold what I put on etsy, and locals. You have to try the ones in the link I gave blues frog. I can't smoke…

I can't smoke enough of them and they are two bucks and some change. They taste and smell great.

Also speaking of cigars this week I had some display cases the owner of the cigar shop gave me since I have a booth in an antique mall. They were sitting in the cigar shop and I had nowhere to put them. I had no use for them, but he said I could sell them.He just wanted them out. I wanted to be considerate and get them out of there, so I wrote a funny email imitating those crazy used car guys from the 80s on the commercials to all my fellow vendors offering them the cases in exchange they had to purchase some cigars for me at the shop and leave them at the counter. Needless to say, one girl got mad and asked to be taken off my mailing list, and the owner of the antique mail sent and email all around to everyone reprimanding me and stated no sales are to be made without them getting 12 percent. Ha, 12 percent of a few cigars. I'd just give her a whole cigar to avoid having to cut off the equivalent of 12 percent of three. I felt jaded about their snobbery all day, and then later that evening a girl wrote me saying she thought the message was hysterical, and wanted to get me a few cigars even though she had no place for the cases.
I love a good cigar!
I love a good cigar! Smoke about 2-3 per week. It's fun to show the cigar shop owners what I do with their boxes. I tried to sell a couple on consignment at a cigar store but found no takers. CBG's attract guitar players more so than cigar smokers. I usually get good deals on the empty boxes when I also buy a couple of cigars. I want to help keep them in business because without them I've got nothing to work with. I'm jealous of Chickbonejohn showing off his Havana. I'm hoping some day we…

Welp, last night I had my first cigar since around 2002 and...I didn’t like it. I mean, it was fine blowing smoke rings and kicking back for a bit, but it didn’t take long for a real aversion to the taste in my mouth to develop. Kind of made me a little nauseous, even. I ended up not finishing it. So I guess I’m not built for smoking anymore. Which is probably good because I’ve already damaged myself enough with food over the years. I need to move more and stay hydrated, and cigars seem to…

It’s really too bad. I wanted to love it. Guess I’m stuck with eating my vegetables instead of lighting them on fire.
Can't beat a Montecristo!tag:www.cigarboxnation.com,2017-12-12:2592684:Comment:30048762017-12-12T03:43:50.762ZCboxGypsyhttps://www.cigarboxnation.com/profile/JamesPavlov

Man I sure did. I have not seen snow in a couple of years with the exception of a a couple weeks in Taos, NM where the altitude is high. I still dream of that place. Driving through the hills out here in NC with all the snow we got smoking that cigar and drinking some coffee felt great. I am going to give one of my new pipes a shot with something I am aging a jar. I compulsively gave a boy in Tennessee 300 bones for all the pipes they had left without even looking close. Not into Christmas much, but the dead guy whose estate it was was called Santa Claus. The 300 ended up being a great deal. They didn't look that close, or know, but there was a Dunhill for 10 bucks. You can imagine my joy, knowing what the value on that pipe was. These are some great pipes, and I'll take my time selling them.

I have a friend that smokes Baccarrat. I had one, and it was good. Alec Bradly is another favorite of mine that is under 10 bucks. Romeo Y Julieta is tough to beat, but I have been smoking the blazes out of these. Cant beat the price, and I can't get enough of them.https://www.famous-smoke.com/churchill+deluxe+cigars/item+18035
