For any of the new folks here on the Nation every Christmas we compile a FREE DOWNLOAD album of songs played, composed and sung by our members, we have been doing this for the last several years with great success and some great songs!
The primary technical requirement is that the recording be of reasonably good quality, for example, If you are singing, we want to be able to hear your voice!
We mostly prefer your own seasonal songs or public domain songs written and performed by our own members on their own home made instruments, you MUST NOT send in copyrighted songs such as "White Christmas" !!

I sat and listened to all of you and it was actually very nice and entertaining as well. A breath of fresh air to hear different and unique tunes vs the same old radio ga ga. Thank you all for putting in the effort again and making fun Christmas music. Thank for the kind support & positive comments. Playing on instruments we build is rewarding as well as creating our versions of a song and some original lyrics.

After listening to this year's songs I gotta say as always there are some interesting takes on Christmas that I have not heard anywhere else. It is one of the reasons I look forward to this CigarBoxNation Album every year.

Listening now.. I should say I'm honored to be included with these guys, but frankly, I'm embarrassed. But isn't that the whole thing about CBG's, You play what shouldn't be played, and sing even when you cant. Who was it that said "They can say I cant sing, But nobody can say I didn't sing"
