I'm all "business" with my license plate guitars! Many shows require a tax ID number with your application.

Since I only do cigar box guitars as a side line, I sell under my computer repair business as a secondary product line.

I am a sound tech for our local auditorium. If I did make cbgs to sell I would do it under that license.So far, my license allows me to write off equipment that I could not afford to do with out it.

I have a drivers license, doe's that count? 

Plumbers need a license, hair dressers need a license, accountants need a license, but don't think there is one for CBG builders.

If you are worried get a simple DBA, your accountant can advise you.
