Here is a slow 12 bar blues track to jam to or record with. Have fun!

"Take 2" is my attempt at a "home made" version with an improvised "drum track" and some CBG

Lets try to keep the song project discussions on topic and discuss general recording discussions  in the recording tips and tutorials thread (or start a new one if the subject warrants it)

Here's my attempt. I thought that backing track sounded a bit smooth and perfect and needed dirtying up a bit!!

I used a three string fretless CBG, that has a Bob Harrisson pick up, going into a Microcube on the rectifier setting with lots of gain!! That went into my mixer (an Alesis multimix 8 USB) which is connected to the computer via usb) I then got the levels right and faded it out in Sony Acid Pro 7.

I've attached my track on it's own and also with the backing track...

What I call "sleazy blues" - love it!

Hey I was thinking. I've done some CBG here....if someone did some bass along to the backing track, then someone else did some kind of beat, then anyone else add anything you like, then we could put them all together and take the backing track away!!

If anyone fancies the idea, just record something along to the 12 bar blues track above (right click and save as to download it) record your bit along to it, then post your track here (just your track without the backing)...I don't mind putting it together if we get enough tracks : -)

all hail the queen!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOW Belinda. great work!!!

LOL, thanks James!

sweeet   stuff bee   ;-)    well plotted  ;-)

thanks pick!

Exactly!

(I love it when a plan comes together!)

: -)

mark, i just herd bemuzic's work on this, and i am blown away, not just by her work, but at the  whole concept of this, and for that we have you to thank, great idea !!!, BTW, im making my self nuts working on this, its a good exercise though

OK here  is my attempt, 600th  attempt, not really but there were many...................... so if Belinda dirtyed it up, i turned it nasty, i used my usual 3 string cbg, recorded with audacity, using  cheap computer Mic,  and head phones on. something in the works isn't right , audacity? Mic,? lack of knowledge? or all?, or even something else? who knows im not looking to fix it now though cause im tired
